A little-known fact is that seventeen years ago, Pamela started out as a client before becoming part of our team. Over those years, she has also become a friend and one of the most loyal team members anyone could ask for.
She worked every holiday, almost every weekend, and woke up with the chickens—sometimes literally—to take care of our clients (including a few actual chickens). Her dedication never wavered, and her care was always genuine and impeccable.
I’ve always known this day would come, but knowing doesn’t make it any easier. I’ve had almost a year to prepare myself, and it still hit hard. There were a lot of tears today. At the same time, I am so excited for Pamela as they begin their next chapter in Maine.
Of course, we will still be here to take care of y’all—but I know that so many of you have had Pamela as part of your lives, too.
