This email is to inform you of a reecent experience in your neighborhood.

On Wednesday, June 10, 2009, one of our Team Members and a clients two dogs were attacked outside/near 1211 1/2 Hagan Street during our "regular mid visit".

Our pets were leashed and in our control, when two Doberman Pincer(s) bounded and attacked from the above stated residence.

The pets in our care were not injured, but our Team Member was. As we do in any case, we completed the "online" Complaint or Request for Investigation. (link below)

http://www.la-spca.org/prevention/animal_control.htm

It is our understanding that a second complaint was filed by the pet owner for the same reason for a incident that took place two weeks earlier, while the pets were in his care and control. In that case, one of the pet owner's dogs was injured and required veterinarian care.

The safety of your pets and my team are of the utmost importance to me. Our relationship with all of you is very important, so please do not hesitate to phone me if you have any questions or concerns.

Please let us know if there are pet owners in your area that are not adhering to our city's leash law* and we will be sure to avoid that area. Please feel free to forward as you see fit.

Thanks and have a great evening.

Needs a forever home...

This fella is a littermate to our male Corgi, Brewster. The breeder has him now because his owners moved into a town home that has no yard, and he wasn't happy. He's very healthy, no behavioral issues. The only thing is that he likes to jump and lick, but that can be easily trained not to do. If you know anyone who may be interested, breeder is seeking a $200 re-home fee because she has kept him up to date with shots and monthly heartworm meds

How cute is this?
