 The Forest Retreat is about two hours from New Orleans around Gloster, Mississippi. It is on the edge of the Homochitto National Forest.The Fallen Tree House is such a peaceful place and it is dog friendly. Let me figure out when I can go!

Tallulah is a road dog!

We got Tallulah in August, and she has been to Texas, Oklahoma, Mississippi, Tennessee, Kentucky, Ohio, Pennsylvania and New York!  We are so thankful that she loves car rides. Did you know Pilot Gas Stations have dog parks in some locations? It really helped us plan our routes based on her stretching her legs.

Our current pet friendly hotel lately has been Home2Suites by Hilton. The small suite allows us to use her travel crate and still have plenty of room to move around. 

This was her last road trip. She is the big one... the little one is a client/her BFF that we got to pick up in New York and bring down to New Orleans. The adventure is on our insta if you want to check it out!

Private Dog Park!?! Yes - you can rent that!

When the twins were little I paid for private yard time at Canine Connection. NOLA Sniff Spot would have been such a game changer for us. I am so glad New Orleans has this great option. It is off Carrollton Avenue near Rock n' Bowl. It is super easy. You book online and head off to play!

Embark is pricey but great information that was really helpful!

We learned Tallulah is mostly Labrador, Weimaraner & Boxer and was about 4 months when we did the test. Here is a look at her wisdom panel. Looks like we have a healthy little girl!
