Final basketball thoughts...
1. If you wait long enough, they bring balloons to the other side.
2. Drago's @ the Hilton after the game was not the best idea I have ever had.

Things I have learned.... @ Hornets game
The blue guys are better.
You get balloons if you are on the other side.
Knee socks are not practical.
If you repeat the guy behind you - you totally look smart.
They dim the lights when it is your turn.
I totally need glasses.
That you get laughed at when you put glasses on.
This game is to long.
I hate basketball.
Kettle Corn is so over priced.
Until tomorrow - if I survive.

Made my day brighter!
Dear Nicole,
It is a pleasure to arrive home with the security one's pet has been taken care of properly. Once more, Pamela went above and beyond! Thank you again - we'll contact you when our summer travels are in the works.
Best regards,

Nothing like..
A microwave fire after your dog walk to really get your heart pounding. (UHHH - No I was not cooking grits!) This is going to be a fantastic day. Key learning's thus far:
- Smoke eater candles do not work for this amount of smoke
- Yelling fire does not put a fire out
- Home Owners does not cover microwave
- Sears does not have one that looks like the rest of my appliances any longer
Someone come hold me... I may have a nervous breakdown. We need to move... first the HUGE MOUSE and now this. UGH!

See my face...
They are having a "real person" baby and I hate change. Please keep me in your thoughts and send me pawsitivie vibes!
The best thing ever...
So I am about a block from my house after a wonderful morning walk with my babies. I see this same man almost every morning working on a house a few doors down. We always exchange "good morning" ... nothing more. If I had to guess, he is 125 years old! This morning he said "time for a question?" I said sure and to that he said "They got a baby daddy?". I said - yes they do and he said - "well okay, I will still try to talk to you in the mornings". I said perfect.

We are pleased to report that the Children?s Museum of St. Tammany will not have a mini-Goldendoodle puppy as part of its Celebration Live Auction.
It is the right decision to remove it from the Live Auction.
It is our hope and wish that those who expressed their concerns about the puppy now support our decision, the Museum and its place in our community.
Finally, and to clarify some misinformation, the puppy was never to be raffled; rather was part of a live auction process, and most important, its safety and well-being was always of utmost importance to us. For the record, we are very happy to relay that all auctioned puppies from our prior years have successfully been placed in loving homes.
This news to remove it from the auction has brought us many offers to adopt the adorable mini Goldendoodle; however, it is best that he remain safely in his existing home.
A special thank you to Julia Breaux Melancon, Louisiana State Director for the Humane Society of the United States, for her positive guidance and assistance.

Dear Fundraising Committee,
I recently learned that you plan to auction a puppy off at your upcoming fundraiser. I'm asking that you please reconsider this action as it sends a terrible message. Puppies are living, sentient beings, not inanimate objects. I hope you will consider the difference. Having been a participant at charity auctions, I can attest to the fact that attendees tend to act impulsively. It would be a shame for the puppy to be "auctioned off" to a person who was not fully prepared to make the commitment necessary to give an animal a good home. Please reconsider this auction "item".
Sincerely,
Shirley Colvin"
