Where is my hiking dog when I need her?!?!
This is where I have been for the past three days. It is called Milia...located on the island of Crete at the southern most part of Greece. AMAZING!!!! I took a 5 hour hike today and missed Buzi the entire way. The ecolodge is situated in the middle of 2000 meter mountains. Sooooo gorgeous!!!
Jess- be nice to my children...who I know couldn't care less that I am gone :)

My baby
It has been nine months today... I still miss him so much every day. Remy loved the pool. He would get a ball and try to go into the kitchen to dry off! Silly goose.
Top of the mornin!
Biggie and I met the morning with a long walk before the sun came up. She hit the door and immediately... she had a bounce in her step! She kept looking back at me as if to say "go faster". So cute! As we rounded the corner we got a phone call from Jessica (always good for a GiGi story)... A lost dog followed them home from their morning walkin'. This little pup found her way to a gold mine! Looking for a home!
A wonderful client mommy sent me this post. They are looking for a forever home... Can anyone help them?
Golden Retrievers Need a Good Home. My best friend has been forced to get rid of her two AKC registered Golden Retrievers. Both dogs have been "fixed". In the attached pictures, one is a 9 year old male (Jaxon) and the other is a 6 year old female (Roxie). Would like to keep them together if at all possible. Dogmoor
Someone sent me a link to this web site a few days ago... It looks like the residents of the Broadmoor neighborhood of New Orleans are working on a dog park! Such great news!

Sweet baby Biggie...
is staying at La Maison Remy for two weeks! She is 15 years old and such a sweet baby. She gets very excited to go on a walkin' and lets me cuddle her. She is laying on the sofa watching Ellen! I love house guests...Saturday!
In addition to the regular Bywater Art Market (with more than 30 artists!), they are hosting a special fund-raising event this Saturday! Bring your dog and adopt another one from the SPCA, get them micro-chipped, have them washed for $10, have them blessed at 1pm, buy them costumes and enter the costume contest at 3pm! Dog-themed art, gourmet dog treats, food, toys, accessories and books will all available! All proceeds to benefit the LA-SPCA heartworm fund.

Say it ain't so!
I am no Willard Scott but I will admit it... I am obsessive when it comes to tracking these things. It was a Pre-Katrina obsession. Think about this... I have the responsibility of making sure that all of our traveling clients and all of our first responder babies are safe and sound in the event of... well an event. Needless to say... I always welcome November 30th with a spring in my step!

I got an email a few minutes ago asking why I have not posted a photo today. I looked down and realized that it was already 2:30PM. Goodness... What a crazy day! I LOVE IT... This is Ms. Straya.
