One year later...
It is hard to imagine... but I lost my little Remy a year ago today. As everyone rushed off to Barkus, Remy and I stayed behind and spent our last day listening to the sounds of Mardi Gras parades on St. Charles Avenue. I would not trade a moment of his life... including my last day with him for anything in the world.

Remy - Blanc
When I moved here I was so excited to see this little boy across the street in his big beautiful yard. My Remy would great him every morning by marking his gate... same place every time we walked by and then they would kiss. Weeks and weeks later I finally saw his mom and she told me his name was Remy. We had never met another Remy and quickly named him Remy Blanc (White Remy). When I feel like yelling Remy... I borrow him (they are also great clients now!). He is always good for a few corrections... "Remy - stop eating off of the counters", "Remy - get out of the pantry", Remy - are you kidding me?", and my personal favorite... "Remy - have you lost your mind? Drop that kitten!"

Baby Tres... He had me at hello...
I am so sad... and by that I mean happy for him but sad for us. Sawyer is on her way to drop off baby Tres at his new forever home in Stroudsburg, PA. Yea - Not like we can run for a visit! I am so grateful for Sawyer for giving of her time and energy to turn this little baby into a very well mannered, non cat eating, perfect little pup. She spent countless hours interviewing prospective parents, time at Dag's House, time and patience in his training and poured her love into him. She is amazing... and so is he. "My husband found this wonderful male 2 year old miniature schnauzer running across west Esplanade . He must have been on his own for a month or more . We took him to the vet and he is thin but very healthy . Better behaved than my three dogs . He is a perfect little dog .

I love this company with all that I have... And we give it our all. This is my passion, not my hobby... Remy's legacy leads me to continue our work here... not only with excellent pet care but it also affords me the opportunity to support the rescue/transport organizations that are so important to me. We will continue to differentiate ourselves by making sure we have a full team... ready to go everyday, no matter what the weather! We will never take vacation, we are 24/7, 365 days... we will be there when you can't. We love them like you love them. We always have and we always will!
