Squeaky - Internet Debut!

Look who came out today! Good luck with the wedding... We are all just fine.

Sweet Baby B!

Look at that smile!
Nothing makes B smile like the freezer door opening...

Thanks so much...

Finding New Orleans Petcare when I moved here was wonderful. I know my sweet kitties will be well taken care of. Some years ago, a sitting service (in VA, not here!) took my reservation and then didn't show up for 12 days!!! It's hard to get that trauma out of my head. So, I over-bug Nicole, et al and they never seem to mind.

The blog is a wonderful way for us to check up on our loves while away. I was just in Europe and it totally made me feel connected to them. The sweeties love Jessica, Nicole and Wendy. I have one lover (Snickers, left) and one comedian (Simon, right). I couldn't be happier with the service.

A short time ago my mother was ill in Missouri and I would have to pick up and leave at very short notice. It was great to be able to just call and tell Nicole and be on my way. It was one thing I did NOT have to worry about when dealing with the family issues facing me. We all know that feeling of comfort and assurance and how important that is as pet parents, so it's a big THANKS to Nicole and staff for everything they do.

Hawaii or bust!

New Orleans Pet Care, especially Nicole and Jessica, was the best thing about moving to New Orleans. I am in the Coast Guard and was transferred to New Orleans in 2006. Because my job, my hobbies (triathlon), and my husband (not stationed here) required me to travel a lot I was lucky to find such exceptionally caring, loving and attentive pet sitters.

It is so hard to "start over" every few years when I move. I have two kitties, Zoot Kitty and Scrat, and a rabbit, Ripple, a special needs bunny who requires a bath almost every time Jessica visits. Little did they realize that "bunny butt cleaning" would need to be added to their duties, at no extra cost! My critters adore Jessica more than me! They always spend extra time playing, giving love, and taking care of all those other little things, like cleaning up hairballs on the carpeting, that I forgot to warn them about.

Thanks to Nicole and Jessica, I never worry about leaving at a moment's notice, or forgetting to buy salad for the rabbit at the grocery store. They take care of everything. We'll miss you!! Will you move to Hawaii as my kittys' nanny?

I finally got it. -Creek
I'm just the prettiest girl ever! - Cassie

Squeaky was hiding and did not want to get her picture taken today. Who knows maybe tomorrow she will be ready for her internet debut.

We love when mom and dad leave

We get to eat treats...and get a good brushing.

Gunner's Vacation

Because all dogs need a break!! Gunner loves having 2 toys at once. Notice in the bottom pic that he already has a ball and is going after Gigi's ball. Haha.

Jazz Fest...

Who needs it? We are worn out from our walk... Brad had to carry me back and Star just went right back to bed! Hope you had a great time... Pull out the festival schedule! Next?!

French Quarter Cats

Cats have been underestimated as pets for too long. Now that people are keeping their cats indoors and paying attention, they're learning that cats aren't aloof. They're cool. They're ironic. They're undeniably hip. You read it here first: Cats are the new dogs.
(From Times Picayune article 4/27/08, "What's In Store For Animals and Owners?")

So, as Nicole requested, here are photos of my cool, ironic, hip cats who live in the French Quarter (former Lakeview cats -- our choice to live in the "original" City after the storm). Stevie, Eddie, Rudy, Bailey (upside-down), and Emma.

Rain, Rain... GO AWAY!

Hi Mom!

ok... and dad!
All is well... Bradley let us play (and by that we mean smell...) everything in our beautiful backyard! It was a very nice day in New Orleans...Skunky & LuLu are ok too. Bradley thinks Lulu likes the inside but plans her escape every time he walks in! Silly girl. Skunky could care less that y'all are gone. In fact... may prefer it!
Night Night!
