So, she breaks out of her crate in the middle of the night. She opens two latches, gets out, will go to Remy's bed and get under a blanket. She has a new trick... Last night, Derek and I are in the kitchen and we hear the front door opening. Not expecting anyone, we both starting walking toward the door... Isabelle is on her hind legs with her front paws pushing down the door handle. Really?

My babies are 12 weeks old today...

HenriThey have found their voice and love to bark at each other... and talk back to me. Isabelle has decided that she does not want to sleep all night in her crate. She wants to sleep in the bed... it has been a huge discussion at 12:30am and 3:30am! Henri has learned to "get the paper" in the morning. They are both really good with our routine. We are working hard on our manners!

An afternoon of community awareness events presented in conjunction with “Caring Partners” from the American Heart Association, Louisiana SPCA and Magnolia School. Activities will include pet adoption. Exhibit:The Art of Caring: A Look at Life Through Photography
Where: New Orleans Museum of Art
When: Saturday, September 26, 11 a.m.-3 p.m.
Organized by the New Orleans Museum of Art, this traveling exhibition of 175 photographs explores how key life events are celebrated and honored, and how pivotal life decisions are made by different world cultures. The exhibition will be comprised of seven themes: Love, Children and Family, Wellness, Disaster, Healing, Aging, and Remembering. The works will be amassed from a number of institutions, private collections, and the Time/LIFE Picture Collection. Contemporary artists represented include Tina Barney, Nan Goldin, Sally Mann, Larry Sultan, Tatsumi Orimoto, and Nicholas Nixon, while selections from the Time/LIFE collection include the work of legends such as Alfred Eisenstadt, Gordon Parks and W. Eugene Smith. Famed photographer Annie Leibovitz will lend a number of her iconic works, which will form a preface to the exhibition, and several relevant HBO Films will accompany each section.

Whatyagonnado?
My two monkeys went to see our Vet yesterday and got the second set of shots. They were up and down all night... I think I may have slept about 1.5 hours. They woke up at 6am, had breakfast and look... they are sound asleep! OH MY GAWD... I need crate time!Monday, July 6, 2009

One word... POOL!
After his swim
It worked! Henri loves the pool but Isabelle would rather look for sticks. What a difference a week makes. They are both taking well to "crate time" but are doing well with "settle" outside of the crate. The pool was amazing... We will gets lots of pool time in!
