Old blankets for furbabies...

As you do your spring cleaning, if you have any blankets, sheets or towels that are too worn to keep, please consider donating them to our blanket drive for Dag's House dogs. Dag's House does doggie rehab, as well as some animal rescue, and goes through a lot of laundry. Like all animal welfare organizations, they are always in need of donations of blankets, etc. You can drop off any donations on our front porch, anytime between now and March 21st: 1233 Fern Street, New Orleans, LA.

RedRover Responders Volunteer Training

I am so pleased to be able to host this event for RedRover.  This is the perfect time of the year to be holding this workshop and I hope that you will consider attending.
More on RedRover ...
The RedRover Responders volunteer corps are the backbone of our efforts to provide lifesaving care and sheltering for animal victims of natural disasters, puppy mills, hoarding, and other cases of cruelty and neglect. Volunteers come from across the United States and Canada and from all walks of life, but they have one thing in common: a commitment to helping animals in need.
Our unique training program combines the ease of self-paced online training with a community-building workshop. Volunteers emerge from the training program feeling connected with the resources they need to be successful RedRover Responders volunteers.

Workshop:  7.28.12

Again, please consider taking the time to do this... you will not be disappointed!
