From the web site... The Spotted Cat Company donates 5 to 15 percent of each sale to select animal rescue & animal welfare organizations that directly assist animals in need. Each fine gift you select, whether a whimsical Jim Shore figurine or a stunning Laurel Burch designer tote or pair of funny cat earrings, has been carefully chosen to project the love and joy that our four-footed furry friends can bring into our lives. Your purchase gives support and comfort back to those animals who most need it. We have asked our partner animal welfare organizations apply the donations from The Spotted Cat Company specifically to veterinary services for the animals in their care.
Why veterinary services? Well, Dr. Diane (ahem… yours, truly!) is a trained veterinarian herself and is aware of just how expensive veterinary care is for animal welfare organizations, even when local vets are giving of their time and resources. The costs of a needed medication or veterinary treatment can make the difference in the future of a rescued animal and it is our hope that each and every one gets a chance at a happy, healthy life with a new family. So you see, this donation thing… it’s not just something we do, it’s who we are!
