At approx. 1322 hrs. on Tuesday, 10/18, GDSD received a call from a neighbor heard something break in the back of a house in the 1200 block of Sixth Street. Victim witnessed a w/m, 25-30 yrs., 5’8”-5’10” wearing a white t-shirt, plaid shorts and a dark ball cap standing in the side yard and the side door open. NOPD was called. GDSD secured the perimeter outside as NOPD cleared the residence. It appears the subject went up a ladder into a back window (breaking it) and fled out the side door and over the back fence. Owner was contacted and found approx. $2500 worth of jewelry missing. The subject may have left a bicycle behind as it didn’t belong to the owner. NOPD confiscated the bike.
