Seven total gun cases were reported along the Uptown portion of the parade route this weekend, with five clustering near Erato Street, and the other two at Eighth and Sixth streets.
On Saturday, police made gun cases around 7:30 p.m. at Sixth and St. Charles, around 8:20 p.m. at Erato and St. Charles, and again at 9:40 p.m. at Erato and St. Charles. On Sunday, a gun was reported at Thalia and St. Charles around 2 p.m., according to crime maps.The latest reports follow three guns seized on Friday evening along the route. Together, five of the cases were close to the Erato and St. Charles intersection, while the other two were at Sixth and Eighth streets.
