From Pit Bull Awareness of TN

Rescues Beware! PLEASE Share! remember the "gay dog" story these were the owners

We rarely put up notices about individual adopters because a lot of times, there is not concrete evidence of their wrongdoing. This is not the case with these two. They are on record on video saying these things, so we are spreading the word in the hopes it reaches rescue and shelters and others so that they do not adopt another pit. Please share far and wide!

These owners in Jackson, TN gave up their family pet to a high-kill shelter because they thought it would not be able to protect THEM. Now they are looking for another (pit bull) puppy so they can train it to be more aggressive. (Luckily the word got out fast enough and the dog was adopted before it could be PTS) This is the same dog that was reportedly given up because the owners thought he was gay!! Now the owners are denying that they ever said that.

Jackson TN seems to be in comfortable driving distance of MO, AR, KY, MS, so rescues in those states close to the TN border should also be advised.
