I love our state and our crazy city -  below sea level with alligators, snakes, rats the size of small children,  blood sucking mosquitoes the size of bats.  I will take termite swarms and 99% humidity.  I will take a hurricane in a minute because we have our fair warning... we make groceries, fill up our ice chests with booze and either roll out or "shelter in place".  I did not do well when I lived in California with earthquakes and I would be a nervous mess living in a place with tornadoes.  justsayin.

Bless those people.  We know what rebuilding is like...  That reminds me, Hurricane Season starts next week.
