On Sunday evening, around 11:15 p.m., a 25-year-old man was walking in the 2500 block of Magazine (near Second Street in the Garden District/Irish Channel area) when he was approached by two men, and one of them hit him in the head with a handgun, the initial report states. They demanded his wallet, and when he gave it to them, they took off in a silver vehicle on Magazine toward Jackson, the report states.
