Heads up y'all...

It is looking more and more likely that we are going to see the development of a low pressure system over the Bay of Campeche or the southern Gulf of Mexico as soon as early next week. In fact, the NHC has placed 30% odds over the next 5 days. Model support is strong on this possibility (EURO shown in image below). The general track would be towards the east-northeast into the central or eastern Gulf of Mexico by late week. All residents and interests in the Eastern Gulf/FL please monitor this potential.
