And now, Finn is on his flight back to NOLA!

Now, I just have to get Finn back!

They cuddled all the way there! They watched a movie and he looked out of the window. He was absolutely perfect. Now... on to the hand off!

Emilie is a SAINT!

Emilie had to travel to Houston for personal reasons. When she travels she always lets resuce groups know when and where she is going in case someone needs trasport. Today she left Houston with this little girl who is on her way to her forever home in Metarie!

Houston to NOLA - Transport (Week of 5.25.15)

ATTENTION Friends of Belladoggie and Dag's House!

We are looking for a volunteer who is willing to transport this little girl from the Houston SPCA to the New Orleans metro area within the next week. She is a young, 7lb. Terrier who has hind-end lameness (so she cannot walk) that is likely from an old injury. She is going to come to Dag's House where she can be properly fitted for a wheel chair and re-homed!

Xena

On December 18, 2008, Bradley helped Xena's Mommy pick her up from New Orleans International Airport.  Xena's Mommy has been very active in Afghan Hound Rescue and Xena was one of the lucky ones who knows the joy that living with her Mom can be.  

Over the past few weeks, Xena has been getting sick and long story short, they are her giving her about two more weeks before she crosses Rainbow Bridge.  This beautiful photo is how I see her today and will always remember her.  We are going to help give her the best few weeks we can. 

Whatever you do, to whomever you pray, we need all of the prayers, thoughts and positive vibes we can get for Xena and her Mommy.

Transport babies...

Dear Mother Nature: Please stop raining so our babies have a good flight in and are on time. They have had a heck of a few days. Thanks in advance!

• Pulled from IAH on site kennel... heading toward airplane! CHECK!

• 2:36 departure... they are in the air y'all! CHECK!

• Transport done... CHECK! (This family is an amazing military family who is transferring back to the US!)

My poor transport babies...

Left Guam on a 8 hour flight to Honolulu Hawaii. They did one overnight in the kennel and headed out on a 7 hour and 48 minute trip to Houston.... Now they are stuck in Houston and have to overnight again before heading to NOLA. They are going to be very travel tired babies when they get here tomorrow. Delayed by an entire day... Sadness.
