Garden District Residents:
The nearby AASD/UHSD Patrol reported an armed robbery this morning in the 6000 block of Chestnut. There were no injuries.
Though details are still being compiled, the preliminary reports tells of a woman standing outside waiting for a ride, when an African American male on a bicycle with a gun approached her and stole her purse. This occurred at approximately 7:30 this morning, Saturday, May 7th.
