Great, quick read... helpful reminders and I learned a few things too.

Hurricane Season - 2012 (Here we geaux!)
It is that time again y'all! I just finished the final touches on our 2012 Hurricane Plan...
I always reserve personal comment on the writer… however; the quote is one that I find myself using this time of the year. “Hope is not a plan. Don’t hope for something. Plan for it. ”-Anderson Cooper (When talking about respective response of government(s) support, or lack thereof, regarding Katrina)
My business is taking care of your family and I take that very seriously. We do not haphazardly enforce our PLAN. It may be a bit more than you want to think about but this is not our first hurricane season. If you choose another pet care company or decide upon a boarding facility, I would suggest that you are sure they have a written plan that leaves no room for ambiguity.

If you would like a copy of our Disaster Preparedness Guide For Pet Owners, please send us an email and we will be happy to send that to you. Our email address isNOLAPetCare@aol.com
This blog turns into an emergency page (it has always been on the site, just not visible).
We HOPE to never have to execute the PLAN again... but we are prepared to do so. HOPE IS NOT A PLAN.

This made me smile and cry...
I am sorry I can't fix the format...
Thank you to Nicole and NOLA Pet Care for my peace of mind these past six years
-- having five cats in small spaces in the French Quarter since the storm has been a challenge, but I always felt comfortable leaving my furry children in the hands of Pamela, and previously Jessica. Especially lately, as my aging cats have become "special needs" cats, requiring shots and pills. I love coming home to the daily journal, and getting the photos while we are away. I also like coming home to a clean and organized home at the end of the vacation -- of course, I think my cats would prefer to see Pamela coming through the door instead of us, because she gives them such great attention. We are planning on moving soon, hopefully to an area serviced by NOLA Pet Care. I always recommend your services to others, and will continue to do so. I will let you know where we land once our house is sold.
It is so hard to loose our babies and our parents. We love y'all so much. Thanks for all of your support over these years.
You may...

On my gosh... I think I am going to put a baby lock on by cabinets where I keep my cleaning products.
