HORRIBLE - BARB found this morning
This poor baby. Barb was walking her two and saw this box from the street. Her babies were pulling to get to it. When she rounded the corner, this is what she saw. It has obviously been in this box for days. She is on the way to her Vet...

So this happened...
Resident reported her husband was warming up vehicle in driveway and an unknown person jumped in vehicle and sped off. The husband began chase and lost view at Baronne and Eighth.
The vehicle is a silver 2013 Toyota Land Cruiser with Louisiana plate # XQN 937. The vehicle has been reported to NOPD and dispatched over police scanner. Additionally, the victim states there is an Un-loaded 20 gauge shotgun and a loaded 9MM handgun stainless steel color in the vehicle. Any further info will be reported. NOPD, GDSD patrol and uptown units notified. Vehicle has a lift kit, and a wildlife sticker on the rear window.
