How cute is Derek?

Well - the back of his head.

Walkin' Bradley is so hard...

Yes... I did.

You put spoons on it and it goes on the stove.
I have never owned such a thing in 44 years!
It is in the regift closet.

Can I call this a testimonial?

Ken Foster

If you are not familiar with Ken Foster, I think he does great work and is a wonderful writer and educator.  I have never met him but I hope to at Jazz Fest this year.  If you live in or know anyone in these cities I hope you will share with them.

If you see this Ken... thanks for all you do!

Mom & Dad went for a visit...

Pamela said they spent an hour brushing her and she purred like crazy.  She is feeling so much better and I hope that helps Mom and Dad feel better too.  She is where she needs to be.

CATURDAY!

I totally had the time of my LIFE the last time I was at Graceland... 19 years or so ago. Amazing.

Update on Misfit : Doing better,I'm thrilled to say. Yes,she has kidney failure. No cure. And she really gave me a scare yesterday by throwing up a large amount of blood. She spent the night in the vet,& will be there all weekend getting better care than I can give. We think it is ulcers, given the excess acids her body is producing from the declining kidney function. Not good, but treatable. And we will do whatever it takes to make her quality of life as comfy as possible while we have her. Thank you all for your positive vibes & kind words. XO

Caturday!

They left us?

Shift focus...

My thoughts are also with all those in West, Texas. So many first responders killed there in fertilizer plant explosion.
Although they have not phoned and asked for my feedback, I would totally make geaux cups legal in Boston this weekend! Oh and what is "last call"?

Patton Oswalt - spot on.

"You watch the videos of the carnage and there are people running TOWARDS the destruction to help out. ... This is a giant planet and we're lucky to live on it but there are prices and penalties incurred for the daily miracle of existence. One of them is, every once in awhile, the wiring of a tiny sliver of the species gets snarled and they're pointed towards darkness.
But the vast majority stands against that darkness and, like white blood cells attacking a virus, they dilute and weaken and eventually wash away the evil doers and, more importantly, the damage they wreak. This is beyond religion or creed or nation. We would not be here if humanity were inherently evil. We'd have eaten ourselves alive long ago.
So when you spot violence, or bigotry, or intolerance or fear or just garden-variety misogyny, hatred or ignorance, just look it in the eye and think, "The good outnumber you, and we always will."

Bless the people of Boston...

I totally doubt it!

I had a super idea!

I could put flowers in it!  How cute would that be!  Well... that was not super smart.

Our darling Pamela is having a very hard time...

Please keep them in your thoughts...

Hurstville Neighbors

Although we do not walk inside the Gates of Prayer or any cemetery for that matter, just wanted to share this with our clients in that area.

Dear Hurstville Neighbors:

Representatives from the Gates of Prayer have asked us to remind all neighbors that the private cemetery between Arabella and Joseph is off-limit to dogs. Those with tombs in the cemetery have issued complaints re dogs roaming the area surprising grave side visitors, and leaving behind excrement on and near the grave sites.
We ask for your cooperation and respect for the owners of these site and Gates of Prayer when walking your dog and avoid this location.
We remind you to follow the law of the city: pick up after your pet in all locations and keep him/ her on a leash.
Many thanks.
Sincerely,

When I get two arms - I am totally going to climb that!

Yes - I walked dogs... I just could not hold the leashes.

Hey - It is wet outside!

Morning NOLA!

Yea!  Catnip!

It is Friday and football night!

Thinking...

When I start walking my dogs, I think I am going to bubble wrap my entire head, my arm and my shoulder and perhaps even wear a football helmet.
