Gigi Update
Head up y'all!
Dear Resident's and Merchants - We will be filming scenes for a movie in your neighborhood on Monday, August 15th. Parking signs in affected areas will be posted today. All driveways & handicap zones will be respected. We will have NOPD on hand as well as security during filming. The approximate hours will be from 5pm - 9pm Monday night. To minimize the impact of our filming in the area we have secured private lots to store our equipment and vehicles. We have worked closely with the New Orleans Film Commission to help ensure that we adhere to the standards they have set forth. If you have any specific parking concerns, contact us as soon as possible with any special needs so that we might come up with some creative solutions to address said concerns. If you have any loud construction work or large deliveries scheduled for the day in question, please let us know in advance so we can accommodate your needs. Parking will be affected on the following streets: 2100 - 2200 block of Magazine St from between Jackson Ave and St Andrews (both sides)1000 block of St Andrew St between Magazine and Constance (Uptown side)1000 block of Josephine St between Magazine and Constance (both sides)1000 - 1100 Jackson Ave between Camp St and Constance (Downtown side) We so appreciate your allowing us to film in your neighborhood. This area of the city is an important historic district & we know there has been a great deal of filming in the area & that it can become a nuisance. We endeavor to make this as pleasant an experience as possible for the neighborhood as the key to continuing New Orleans role as a premiere filming destination is community involvement & support. We thank you so much for your hospitality & patience. Do not hesitate to contact us at any time. Do I look familiar? I am lost...
This sweet pup was found this morning and brought to Prytania Veterinary Hospital. He's a shepherd mix, neutered, approx. 12 weeks old, and in very good shape -- but no collar or chip. If anyone recognizes him, please call Prytania at 504.899.2828. Let's get this guy home!
Isabelle wanted to kill him...

Lost Dog
One of our Afghan Mommy's asked us to post this! If you see or find a dog that looks like an Afghan or tall Poodle - give me a call!
It is blond or tan in color. Very tall with long, lanky legs. It looked like someone had taken it to be clipped/groomed fairly recently but the hair is also dirty now. The breed looks like it could be a mix of Afghan and tall Poodle. The hair was kind of wavy and curly like a poodle.
I hope someone will take this dog into a loving home if there is no owner to claim it. It looks sad and sweet but scared."
