MeWow Daddy!

Miss you!

What a life!

And I thought I had it good!

Our latest rescue request for help!

Aspen, is a tiny female dachshund/beagle mix puppy, approximately 8 – 10 weeks old found dumped in an ice chest of a truck. You can only imagine the truck owner’s surprise when he opened his ice chest to find this little puppy crying. Thankfully, he found this little angel, as the man usually just left his ice chest in the truck. However, when he returned home, he decided to unload it to take indoors. Aspen is now with Dr. Riedel of Furry Friends Animal Hospital, receiving the TLC she needs. She has been wormed, is up to date on vaccines, will be spayed and microchipped prior to adoption. If you need more information, please contact Furry Friends Animal Hospital, at 504-366-6060. Email sent from: melmanning@gmail.com

Update

This is the latest email that I received regarding these two sweet babies...

Tracey:
So glad to hear from you just now. There are at least two others interested, so if something doesn't feel right
or the first adoptive family falls through, please contact Natalie Sander and Nicole Douget at NOLA Pet Care
above.
We are all so invested in making sure Ren and Seamus get placed in a good home. Please let us
know how things work out this afternoon.
All the best to you.

Shelley

Just give us the cookie please!

It is Friday y'all!

How sweet is this face?!

Hi Mommy.
I am taking good care of Sawyer & Katie!

Ms. Vera's memorial

Often, the babies and I walk past the memorial for Ms. Vera on the corner of Magazine & Jackson. Ms. Vera was killed on 8.29.05 in a hit-and-run accident. I just read that a new restaurant (Charcoal's Gourmet Burger Bar) will be building on the lot. I am thrilled about the progress on this block and hope that the new owners will still honor her in some way.

Sexy O'Max

Please don't tell my husband or housekeeper that he was in the kitchen counter! Sexy is so cute.

Don't go Bradley...

Update

I received this email today from one of the clients that sent the original email regarding these two beautiful babies...I am working on it y'all!

I contacted Shelley directly because one of my friends tried calling but none of the contact info was working :(

She had already learned this and was hoping to be able to find out more. In the meantime, she gave me an email address but no one's had any luck with it.

Guess what this is?

The restaurant on the corner of St. Charles and Napoleon (old Copeland's) is going to be "Superior Seafood". A concept by Superior Grill. Am I the last to know this?

Happy St. Patrick's Day Mommy!

Pamela is taking great care of us... xoxo

Already this morning!

Working on update...

I have received a few emails and blog posts today about the babies. I have sent email(s) to the contacts that sent the information to me. I will post as soon as I hear!

4:18PM today -

Nicole:

We haven’t been able to reach Tracey by phone or email. I just tried again. So far I haven’t gotten a bounce back like I did this am.
I’ll keep you posted. I want back to Melanie Manning who sent me the original email and she just has the same phone and email I do.

Dog stands by injured canine friend in Japan

If this does not make you want to give to some of the pet rescue organizations in Japan... nothing will. Consider a donation. World Vets is a great place to start. http://neworleanspetcarelaginappe.blogspot.com/2011/03/world-vets-japan-disaster-relief.html?spref=fb
