The contractors (who have been YELLED AT by Megan already last week) left the door open when Mom and Dad were home on Saturday and we took a one hour ish journey around the neighborhood. We got separated but thankfully two angels found us and returned us to our family. Mommy came close to going buck wild but she slowed her roll... we were very tired and hungry but that was totally fun! Needless to say I would be willing to bet those contractors will be more cautious the next time they visit. We are there Monday - Friday so they would have to deal with Mom and Megan and those two would scare me!

Something just hit me...
I was just having a conversation with one of our clients who is an ER Doctor at Touro and was on staff when I came in... (How sweet - he checked on me!) He reminded me - I really want to work the night shift in the ER. The drunk people were HYSTERICAL. He reminded me of the man yelling "NO - I ASKED FOR A GIN AND OJ". How they deal with the drunks is beyond me but how they do it with a straight face is even further beyond...

I am not sitting in judgement at all... I just think he should have reconsidered his nickname.

Can anyone go help Tia today? I sure would if I could!!
VOLUNTEERS NEEDED NOW - well at least when this storms blows over. We are getting pounded. This is what we get for listening to the weather man of "drizzles predicted". The winds have done some damage but the rain has completely flooded the entire area. All of our dogs are up and out of it but the clean up is going to be massive. We will need volunteers for later today/possibly tonight. To help us, contact Carol at: pawsintheparkla@gmail.com
The good news is we can mop it up...
The bad news is almost every house we have (including mine) had rain come in! Viva New Orleans! French Quarter Fest moved to start at 12pm - should stop raining cats and dogs by that point!
