Another Emily Event... Next Wednesday - 9/23

Emily is the mascot for the Humane Society of Louisiana's animal cruelty investigation programs. Emily suffered a lifetime of neglect, before her recent rescue. Her owners have been charged with cruelty. During this past summer, the Humane Society hosted more tan two dozen Emily Event fund-raisers, to raise funds for, and awareness of, abused animals like Emily.

As an offshoot of those events, they developed the Emily Cocktail, a fruity drink with cranberry, Malibu Mellon and pineapples. They are hoping to sell Emily Cocktails around town.

They are having a party...
