Operation Tennessee Rescue - Can you donate?

North Shore Animal League America is responding to an emergency situation with one of our partner shelters in Tennessee.

Recent heavy rains have caused extensive flooding resulting in many displaced families. Sadly, many of these people have no choice but to bring their beloved pets to Metro Animal Control in Nashville for safe-keeping until they are able to return back to their homes. Shelter Director, Judy Ladebauche, has requested our assistance.

To aid in this crisis, the Animal League is deploying two emergency responders with our mobile unit on Friday, May 6, 2010. They will assess the damage in the area and fill the rescue unit with as many shelter animals as possible. This will open up space for the displaced animals that continue to come to the Tennessee shelter.
