True heros of 9/11... still with us today.

I found out today that one of my clients has been a pilot for Pilots and Paws and has personally flown placements in his plane.  He has never mentioned to that to be before.  He sent me this email this evening and I wanted to share it.  Their eyes say everything you need to know about them.  Just amazing creatures.

Moxie is 13, from Massachusetts, she arrived with her handler, Mark Aliberti at the World Trade Center on the evening of 9.11 and searched the site for 8 days.
Tara (16) arrived at the World Trade Center on the evening of the  11th and searched for 8 days.
Kaiser (12) arrived on the 11th and searched tirelessly for people in the rubble.

Both of the photos above are of Bretagne.  They arrived on the 17th and searched for 10 days.

Guiness (15) on the 13th and searched for 11 days.
Merlyn arrived on the 24th and worked the night shift for 5 days.
Red (11) arrived at the Pentagon on the 16th and was searched until the 27th as part of the Bay Area Recovery Canines.

Tuff arrived at 11pm on the 11th and started working...
The Abigail was deployed on the 17th and searched for 10 days.

Hoke was deployed on the 24th and searched for 5 days.
Scout and another unknown dog lie among the rubble at Ground Zero.  Over 100 dogs helped in the search.

Bless these sweet babies.
