Our sweet baby left us at 210pm today. He was in his favorite bed in his favorite spot with Mike holding his paw. His sister was by his side and before they took him away she licked his ears and nudged his little nose. Dr. Carly let Isabelle spend as much time as she wanted with him after he passed and she is resting now. It was heartbreaking yet peaceful and we will pour all of our love and attention into making sure she is comfortable.
I know he is safely with Remy and that he is no longer in pain. That gives me great comfort.
He was a complete joy, a complete jack ass and perhaps the loudest dog I have ever had the pleasure of loving. He was amazing.

It is never easy... Thank you Riverlands Animal Hospital for your loving care, Dr. Carly from Lap of Love for your compassion and patience today. Thank you to my amazing trainer Elizabeth Schonberg who helped me survive the baby years with littermates and who taught me from day one that today would come and that it would be hard for us but would be especially hard for Isabelle. Also - to my team... all of you that have helped us over these past 12 years. I could not have done it without you.
