Spaymart is looking for help!

SpayMart will be opening its “Thrift and Gift Shop” and Second Chance Adoption Center in mid-May. The shop is located at 6601 Veterans Blvd., in the Century Plaza Shopping Center with T.J. Maxx. Store hours will be 10 am - 4 pm, Monday through Saturday.

We desperately need your help stocking the store with quality items, so please share this information with family and friends. All proceeds from the thrift shop will help support SpayMart’s adoption and spay/neuter programs, with the central mission of reducing euthanasia rates at area shelters. We’re looking for kitchen items, such as china, dishware, crystal, glassware, cutlery and pots and pans. Artwork is especially popular, as are books (particularly hard covers), CD’s, and DVD’s. We are also looking for jewelry and accessories, especially vintage or antique pieces, which are extremely sought after. Also, small electronics and appliances in good working order, furniture such as end tables, bookcases, lamps and coffee tables, decorative home accessories as well as linens to include bedspreads, placemats, napkins and other fabrics in good condition. Due to limited space at the shop, we do not take clothing, computers, computer accessories or old TV’s. For more information, please visit our website where a detailed list of our donation guidelines is posted.

Donations will be accepted on Wednesdays and Saturdays, from 1-4pm beginning April 30th. After the store is officially open, (in mid-May), donations will be accepted during normal store hours, Monday through Saturday, 10:00 am - 4 pm. Volunteers are ALWAYS needed. Thanking everyone in advance for their support in making the store a success.
