This kills me. I am always shocked when people hire non bonded, not insured sitters. These are the same "sitters" that charge the same rate that I charge and if they pay taxes I would be shocked. I background everyone that walks into my house - prior to the first interview. I also background check prospective clients when I have an uncomfortable vibe. This is tragic for this poor family.
SICK.
