How about some hood news?
The Rink (Washington & Prytania) has been approved to add a second story to accommodate a "national home decor retailer". I can't wait to see how amazing traffic will be when that starts!
Pipen Lane on 8th & Prytania moved across the street and a new store "jeanne Barousse Home" is moving in.
The space on Magazine between Sake and Coquette will be soon be under construction. It is going to be two retail spaces on the first floor and seven "upscale apartments" on the upper floors. Parking will be included.
One more thing! Congratulations to my neighbor (across the street) Liz Creel on her re-election to the GDA board and for keeping me in the know!
