Heads up y'all!

Dear Neighbors and Business Owners,

This letter is to inform you that on Tuesday, October 22, 2013we will be filming scenes at Lafayette Cemetery No. 1.

Although most of our trucks will be parked in private lots, it will be necessary to hold some street parking for filming.  “No Parking” signs will be posted on the following streets for working trucks and equipment from 6:00 AM Tuesday, October 22, 2013 through 6:00 AM Wednesday, October 23, 2013:
  • 2800 block of Prytania St – river side
  • 1400 block of Sixth St – downtown side
We understand parking is at a premium and will remove all “No Parking” signs as soon as we finish filming in the area.

We are aware of the inconvenience caused by our activity and apologize in advance. Rest assured that we will do everything possible to minimize the impact of our activities on your neighborhood. If you have particular concerns (scheduled deliveries, construction, accessibility needs, etc.) that must be addressed, please call theLocations Department at504.662.1647. We will do everything possible to find a mutually agreeable solution.

We are working in full cooperation with Film New Orleans within the Mayor’s Cultural Economy Office and Katie Williams may be contacted to verify our credentials at 504-329-0665.
We thank you for your cooperation to help make this a successful filming experience highlighting the State of Louisiana once again as a beautiful backdrop for film making. We appreciate your support in the community’s efforts to promote filmmaking in the state of Louisiana and thank you for your patience in this matter.
